Learners’ objectives: at the end of this module you should be able to:
Your behaviours are largely driven by your set of beliefs, values and emotions. You have developed conditioned responses based on your past experiences. All your experiences help you to define your purpose in life. As you mature through your life journey, the purpose of all your experiences is to develop new levels of consciousness. In order to become better, you have to move out of these conditioned responses and create new habits and new responses.
Do you get up every morning with the enthusiasm that you will have a wonderful day? If not, what would help you wake up every day with this enthusiasm?
Changes happen in your life in a dynamic way to help you shift your perspective for the better, but very often you look for the “Panadol effect”, thinking that when you face challenges, you can take the easiest way, ignore it, run away from it, or blame someone else. This happens at home, at work, everywhere and the challenges keep repeating themselves again and again. For meaningful change to happen you need to look at the root causes of your challenges. Only then can you develop a positive mind set.
When you start to challenge your beliefs and assumptions, you start to develop a new level of awareness. Each level of awareness carries a different level of energy. For instance, if you keep blaming the traffic every morning, on your way to work, imagine the energy that you start your work day with.
